v20.0: Entity Mapping — Real-World Entities to the 8-Symbol System

Executive Summary

This report maps real-world entities (countries, companies, military units, institutions) to the 8-symbol GOURMET system using three criteria:

1. Founding date modulo-7 — which residue does the entity’s origin encode?
2. Name gematria — what is the numerical value of the entity’s name?
3. Behavioral affinity — does the entity behave consistently with its assigned symbol’s properties?

The goal is to test whether the 8-symbol system can meaningfully categorize real-world entities.

Methodology

Mapping Criteria

Each entity is scored against all 8 symbols using three factors:

Factor 1: Origin Residue (weight: 40%)

• Calculate founding date mod 7
• Match to symbol with corresponding residue
• Score: 1.0 if exact match, 0.5 if adjacent residue, 0.0 otherwise

Factor 2: Name Gematria (weight: 30%)

• Calculate gematria value of entity name (A=1, B=2, … Z=26)
• Check digital root and modulo-7 residue
• Score based on proximity to symbol values

Factor 3: Behavioral Affinity (weight: 30%)
